Trip To The Pumpkin Patch!

Happy Tuesday, y'all! I hope y'all are having a great day!

Today I'm sharing with y'all my first trip ever to my local pumpkin patch!
About a week ago, me and my friend grabbed some coffee and headed to the pumpkin patch that was surprisingly close to my house! The patch wasn't as full as I thought it would be, but it was totally fine! It was nice to see the different kinds of pumpkins and each friend time and enjoy the wonderful fall weather! We didn't go into the corn maze, but we will next year, for sure! Here are the pictures I took from that day! :)

The pictures look blurry for some reason, I'm sorry, but next time that won't be an issue!
I hope you enjoyed this post and have a wonderful Tuesday!! :)

Did you go to a pumpkin patch this year?

My Currently List! Little Life Update!

With this semester being so close to being over (A month and a couple of weeks left!!), my days have been getting busier and busier, but while I wait for my 2 p.m. class, I decided to do this currently list as a little update! So I hope you enjoy this small life update and hope y'all have a wonderful Wednesday!! :)

These past few weeks (well, overall month!) have been pretty hectic! I have had an enormous amount of homework to do (half way done with it, woohoo!), lots of things to memorize and identify, have had tests back to back as well as a few quizzes, so school has definitely kept me busy! Thus the lack of blog posts, I really want to get back on my blogging game and improve on it, but that will have to be put back for a bit because school comes first! I've been vlogging a lot, though and have been surprisingly been able to edit them and upload them at a decent time, mainly because I take advantage of the breaks I have during classes because when I'm home I'm usually doing homework so not much editing gets done! If you want to keep up with my vlogs and channel in general, the link will be here ! I've also recently made a decision about vlogging and have decided that by at the end of the year I will be posting my vlogs on my recently made vlog channel! I feel like it will be a fresh start and a way to focus on my main channel more! Even though I have been busy with school majority of the time, I still squeeze some social time to hang out with my friends and spend time with my family so seeing them and just enjoying their company makes me less overwhelmed which is always good! So this is a little update on my life right now, so let's get on to the list portion of this post! :)

Here is what I'm currently...

Watching:  I'm currently watching (and catching up on) Faking It, How To Get Away With Murder, and American Horror Story: Hotel (loving it so far and ready for it to come on tonight!!)

Reading: I'm currently re-reading the Harry Potter books because I love them and reading them again makes me one happy lady! Although I've been on the hunt for a good book so I may take a break from the Harry Potter books once I find it! Leave me any recommendations and I'll totally check them out! :)

Listening: I'm currently listening to Every Age by Jose Gonzalez and this song is perfect for this time of the year! It's peaceful yet I can get a fall vibe from it and let's face it, Jose has a nice, soothing voice! haha

Eating: I ate a sausage, egg and cheddar sandwich from Starbucks, it was so good!

Drinking: I got a Iced caramel macchiato from Starbucks!

Enjoying: The fall weather, the cozy outfits, warm drinks, just everything about Fall really!

Wanting: I really want to go to a pumpkin patch! I've actually never been to one so it's something I want to scratch off my bucket list!

Wearing:  Right now I am wearing a black piko shirt, american eagle jeans and my black Steve Madden boots! And as for accessories I'm wearing a necklace that I got at Loft!

So that's my little list of what I'm currently doing so I hope you enjoyed this mini update!

So that's all I've been up to and I love being able to just sit down and blog so once the semester gets less hectic, I'll definitely be blogging more! I hope you enjoyed this mini life update!

What's been keeping you busy right now?

Happy Wednesday, y'all! :)

My Fall Essentials

Hey y'all! Happy Monday, it's been a bit since I last posted on here, but I'm back and I am going to be sharing my fall essentials with y'all! :)

Fall/Autumn is my favorite time of the year, by far! The changing of the leaves, the cool air, the cute clothes, the sweater weather, all of that into one season is pretty great and relaxing!
Now to talk about my essentials for Fall! :)

Candles

Candles are a must have essential for the fall and pretty much any season! haha I love how a room smells when a candle has been lit, it makes the whole place feel cozy and home-y! :) My favorite candles for the fall are Caramel Pumpkin Spice, Pumpkin Caramel Latte, Mahogany Teakwood, Autumn and Leaves! (to name a few!) These are all from Bath & Body Works and then candle on the bottom is Hallow's Eve Halloween and this one was from TJ Maxx! :)

 Dark Nails
Dark nails is also a must for me! The classic reds and the classic black nail polish are colors I go for even in the Winter! There's just something about a good dark nail that makes my day better!
If you don't want to go out and get your nails done or can't seem to get them to be perfect when you paint your nails, these press on nails are amazing for that! There are a lot of cute designs and they're pretty durable! I had a pair a while back and they looked as if I went and gotten them done! I love these cute press-on nails that I found in Walmart for only under $10!

Dark Lips
This one is a pretty obvious essential, but having a dark lip is always fun even when it's not fall or winter! I've recently loved this little combination I came up with, it's ruby woo lip pencil all over my lips as a base, then ruby woo lipstick and top it off with the new MAC Vampify Modern Drama lipgloss which speaks true to the collection it has such a vampy color and I've worn it out a good bit since I first got it about a month or so ago! :)

Good Fall Palettes
I usually have a couple makeup palettes that I reach for during this time, just like any other season, but this time around I recently have been reaching for two palettes that are actually new in my collection! My go-to palettes for this season are the Lorac Pro palette and I know I'm a bit late in getting this product, but I've loved it and am really considering the gold-zipped palette that just came out! Another palette that I've loved for the Fall is the Tarte Tartelette palette! I love the neutral colors and the darker colors that the Lorac Pro palette doesn't have! :)

Sunglasses
This is an all-year round essential in my book! No matter the season, sunglasses are a must to protect our eyes from the sometimes really harsh and bright sun especially here in the South where the sun can be a bit brutal at the most random times! Gotta have those sunnies handy!

Watches
Yet again another essential that is an all-year must! I think watches are a good staple to have, accessory wise, it makes the outfit look feel a bit more classy and polished in my opinion!

Cardigans & Faux Fur Vests
This is pretty self-explanatory, but have a cozy cardigan is nice for those chilly nights and they go with pretty much everything and the colors are endless, I would have a closet full of cardigans if I had the money for it, the obsession is a bit real with these, as well as candles!

A faux fur vest is also a good thing to have for those chilly nights out or when tailgating/going to a football game! It's a classy piece and it's also really soft! Cute and comfy is always good in my book! Scarves are also a must in my book!

Floppy Hats
I found a recent new love for floppy hats and wearing them in the fall is cute and adds a nice touch to a casual or even a dressy outfit! I love floppy hats and are definitely a piece i'll be wearing a lot this season!

Lotion
If you're like me you will know the struggle of being ashy especially in the fall and winter time! I always change up my lotions/body butter and this time around I've been using the Tree Hut Shea Body Butter in Tropical Mango and I love Tree Hut products, they always keep my skin super soft and less likely to be ashy which is always good!

So these were all my fall essentials and I hope you enjoyed this post!
What's your must-have fall essential?
Happy Fall, Y'all! :)

My Dark Lipstick Collection!

Hey guys! It's been a while since I last posted so with October being here and all the Fall goodness, I decided to do a dark lipstick collection! I'm a sucker for dark lips and as you can see, my collection is pretty big! Some are drugstore (majority, honestly!) and some are high-end! I love the Fall time with all the changes and dark colors! I look forward to this time of year every single year! It never fails haha. I hope y'all enjoy this post! :)

Which one is your favorite? :)

Hope you had a wonderful Thursday and Happy Fall, y'all! :)

My Every Day Makeup Routine 2015 ♡

Happy Wednesday! Hope y'all are having a wonderful day! :)
Today I am sharing with y'all my every day makeup routine! This is a simple makeup look i've been going towards now that college is in full swing! It takes me no less than 5 minutes to put it all together in the morning and it's great because most of the time I'm running a tad bit late for class! ( #morningclassproblems ! ) This is also a great makeup look for those who don't like to wear a lot of makeup, in general! So I hope you enjoy this post! :) Enjoy! ♡

The first thing I do before applying my makeup is by taking off all the dirt and gunk that's on my face and I use the Clinique Clarifying Lotion 3 and I love that I don't need a lot of this so I know it'll last me for a long time! Once I finish with that I then moisturize my face with the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel and once that has gotten a chance to sink into my skin I go ahead and apply my makeup!

I have recently started to do my face makeup before my eye makeup and I find that it's definitely quicker and I've also realized that I spend more time on my face makeup than eye makeup (as strange as that sounds haha!)
I used my all time favorite concealer at the moment and it is the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer in Medium Dark Neutral ! Now this concealer is a bit pricey, but it is so worth the splurge! It definitely has a lot of coverage and I don't need a lot so it lasts longer!

I've stayed away from using foundation so when my concealer sets in, I apply a translucent powder!
I have said before that I dislike loose powder, but this translucent powder has been one of my favorites! It leaves a matte and natural finish and I love it! The powder I'm talking about is the CoverGirl Professional Loose Powder in Translucent Medium 115 a.k.a. the best powder I've used!

Then I use my go-to palette and this is the Urban Decay Naked Flushed in Streak and this is another pricey item, but it's worth it, in my opinion! This palette consists of a bronzer, highlighter and blush all in one! (Perfect for traveling and on-the-go!)

Majority of the time I just wear blush, but I used all three this time around! I love that they're not too pigmented and it looks natural on the skin and the highlighter gives a good glow when the light hits your face!

Then I use my favorite primer and prime my eyes!

Urban Decay Primer Potion in Original  (The new design is so nice, can't wait to repurchase it!)

Then I apply eyeshadow on my eyelids and this eyeshadow was a part of a collection, I believe, but this bronzey gold copper color is easy to find!

Then I tight-line and put eyeliner on, I try to stick as close to the lash line as possible, where it isn't too big of a line!
I used the NYC Kohl Brow/Eyeliner Pencil in 921 Jet Black and this is a good drugstore eyeliner!

To get the nice line I use this liquid liner and I'm obsessed with this liner, it's easy to apply and it lasts for hours without smudging!

Now for the mascara! I use these two maybelline mascaras and the yellow one I use for my top lashes and the blue one for my bottom lashes and I sometimes mix both together on my top lashes to give them more volume and separation! :)

And lastly, I fix my eyebrows and this product has been my holy grail! I love how it makes my brows look and how small and lightweight it is so it's perfect for traveling!
Now, mind you, I do want to try out the dip brow pomade, but the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Dark Brown will forever be my favorite, no matter what other products I use! haha :)

So this is the end result! I love how simple it is and has more of a natural vibe!
This is perfect for those college days, running errands, wanting a simple makeup look, anything!
Absolutely love this makeup look and if you're in high school this is great for back to school! :)

What's your go-to makeup product?

Hope y'all enjoyed this and have a wonderful Wednesday! ♡
